Battery
Gotrax Endura pedal assist bike has a 36V 7.8Ah battery. The battery is long lasting and removable. No need to lug the Endura bike to a power source at home for charging. Just remove the battery and take the battery home to charge.
The bike comes with the safety key to detach the battery.
The battery itself has 2 color indicators (Red and Green). Red shows the battery is charging and green indicates that the battery is fully charged. The battery takes around 5 hours to charge too full.
My only dislike is the 2 color indicators on the battery. They do not clearly show how much charge the battery has at the moment. Doesn’t show the percentage.
How to check the battery or power level of Endura 26 Bike?
The control pad on the handle bar of the bike shows the battery level. There are 4 power level indicators on the control pad as well as on the battery.
If all four power levels light up then it means the battery is full. And if only the left indicator is lit and keeps blinking, then it means the battery is low and now is the time to charge the battery.
How to power on the battery?
The battery of Gotrax Endura bike will have no power on receiving. First, it needs to power on by pressing the power ON/OFF button which is present at the bottom of the battery.
Once the power of the battery is in ON mode, insert the battery into the bike and lock it with a safety key.
Handlebar
The things that need to be attached to the bike are handlebar, front fender, seat post, pedals, and front wheel. The handlebar is not adjustable but it has every important thing attached to it.
On the left side of the handlebar there is a control pad and bell. And on the right side there is a 7-gear system.
Control Pad
Talking about the control pad of the endure 26 bike, it has buttons related to front headlight, speed, bike power, and battery level.
To turn on and off the bike, press and hold the ON/OFF button. To turn on and off the front light, press and hold the light button.
To change the speed of the gear from low to high and vice versa, press the mode button. The 3 gear speeds are: 1st gear speed is 8.7mph, 2nd gear speed is 11.8mph, and 3rd gear speed is 15.5mph.
7-speed transmission system

3 Riding modes
You can ride the Gotrax Endura electric bike in three different modes.
1. Electric mode
Ride the bike in pure electric mode without pedals. In this mode the Gotrax bike pulls out the maximum range of 16.7 miles.
2. Pedal assist mode
Experience the pedal assist mode in Endura 26. In this mode you can ride the bike in electric mode along with pedals. The bike pulls out the maximum range of 22 to 28 miles in PAS mode.
3. Normal Bike mode
In normal bike mode, ride the bike as a normal bike without battery.
Front and Back Lights
The front safety light is present to ride the bike in the dark. The front headlight is controlled using the light button on the control pad.
The headlight is too bright in the night and the best part is that its angle can be adjusted.
There is no LED light at the back of the Endura 26 Gotrax bike. Only the rear reflector is present on the bike which lights up by applying the brakes.
Tires and Brakes
Gotrax Endura is not as bulky as fat tire bikes like Freesky Swift horse bike. The tire size of Endura is only 26″ which is comfortable on flat roads and even on uneven roads.
There is a quick release bolt on the front tire to detach the tire. The top of the rear tire has a cargo rack to hold small things.
The endura 26 electric bike uses the disc brake system. The dual disc brakes apply strongly even on wet surfaces.
