How to Delete Addresses on Amazon (Computer)
To remove address on amazon, first open the amazon website on your computer (laptop, desktop, or MacBook). And login to your amazon account.
1. Visit your account
Once logged in to your amazon account, Click on the “Account and lists” option on the top right corner of the amazon website.
Or click on the arrow beside “Account and Lists” and then click on the “Account” option.
2. Find “Your Addresses”
On “Your account” page, scroll down a bit. You will see “Ordering and shopping preferences” Option.
Under “Ordering and shopping preferences”, you will find the “Your Addresses” option. Click on it.
3. Delete/Remove address on amazon
In “Your Addresses” you will find all the addresses you have added on amazon. One of your addresses is set as your default address on amazon.
Remember, the default address is used as your residential address for digital purchases.
To delete any address on amazon, click on the “Remove” button under that address.
But to edit or to remove/delete the default address, you need to set a different residential address for your digital purchases first.
How to Delete Addresses on Amazon (Mobile App)
Adding or deleting addresses on amazon app is also not difficult. Almost every person has an Amazon app on their mobile and iPad (tablet).
Open the amazon app and make sure it is logged in with your account and simply follow the steps below.
1. Open the Amazon app menu
When you are on the amazon app home page, tap on the hamburger menu (3 horizontal lines) at the bottom right corner of the app.
On the next page, you will see 4 options on the bottom of the menu page. The options are: orders, Buy again, account, and lists.
Simply tap on the “Account” option or button.
2. Go to “Your Addresses” in app
Just like amazon desktop website you will find “Your addresses” option under Account settings.
Tap on “Your Addresses” to delete or remove address on amazon.
3. Delete/Remove address on amazon
Once you are in “your addresses” in your amazon mobile app. You will see an option to “Add a new address” at the top. You can add as many addresses by using this option on your mobile app.
Moving down a little, you will find your personal addresses. Under each personal address there is a “remove” button. Tap on it to delete your personal address on amazon app.
The Address which is set as your default address on amazon is your residential address or you can say it is your shipping address.
Whenever you place an order on amazon, your default (residential) address will be picked automatically and will be used as your shipping (order delivery) address.
In order to remove the default address on amazon, you need to first set a different residential address for your digital purchases. Once set, you can remove your default address easily.

To delete a shipping address on amazon, visit ” your addresses” on amazon app and tap on the remove button under your set default address (residential address).
Remember, Shipping address is your set default address on your amazon app.
Every time you place an order, amazon app will pick the default address as your shipping address.
