1. Open your profile on Amazon app
The simple way to cancel amazon orders is by using the amazon app on your mobile, ipad, or any tablet. Open the amazon app first, you will see 4 icons at the bottom of the page.
Tap on the “Your profile” icon which is 2nd from the bottom left.
2. Open Your Amazon orders
On your amazon profile page, tap on “Your Orders” option on the top left of the page.
In “Your Orders”, you will find all your ordered items on amazon.
3. Look for the order you want to cancel
You will find your recently ordered items on the top followed by the delivered items.
If the recently ordered item is not yet dispatched or shipped, it means it can be cancelled.
Just tap on the recently ordered item which is not yet dispatched.
4. View order details
On the next page, you can see complete details about your recently ordered item. The item details show that it is not yet shipped, dispatched, or out for delivery.
Scroll down a bit to find the “view order details” option. To cancel the amazon order just tap on “view order details” option.
5. Cancel Items
In “view order details”, you will find all the details regarding your recently ordered item like order date, order number, order price, etc.
To cancel amazon order, just tap on the “Cancel Items” button/option.
6. Request Cancellation
The next thing to do is to tap on the “Cancel Checked items” button. This will cancel the order and amazon will refund your money in 3 to 5 days.
You can also tell the reason to cancel the item by selecting any of the “cancellation reasons” shown in the picture below. But it is optional and is not compulsory to tell why you are cancelling amazon order.
How to see cancelled orders on amazon?
To see cancelled orders on amazon is also very easy on laptop or MacBook. It is even easier to see cancelled items on the amazon app.
The process is the same, open the amazon app and go to your profile. In your profile, tap on “Your orders” where you will find your amazon order history. Now follow these 2 steps.
1. Apply filter
In “Your orders”, you will find the “Filter” button on the top right corner. Tap on it to filter out your amazon orders.
2. Select Cancelled
On the filter page, you will see there is a “cancelled” filter. Just select the “cancelled” filter and tap on the “Apply” button.
By doing this you can now see your cancelled orders on amazon directly on your mobile app.
Can I cancel amazon order after shipping?
You can cancel an Amazon order after shipping. Just go into “Your orders” on the amazon app. And tap on the item you want to cancel.
The shipped item will show a “Request Cancellation” button. It means you can request cancellation and once requested, amazon will take some days in order to complete the cancellation process.
And you will get your money back.
Can I cancel amazon order after Payment?
Yes, you can cancel an amazon order after making payment. It doesn’t matter if the item is shipped or not, you can cancel amazon orders after paying for them. And you will get a refund in a few days.
Can I cancel amazon order after out for delivery?
If the item is dispatched and out for delivery then you cannot cancel the order. You have to receive the item first and then you can return the item using the amazon app.
If the item has already been delivered, you can return it within 30 days.
